Untitled Goose Game has been in development for almost three years, and although capturing hearts and minds across the globe with its irreverent, chaotic protagonist, it experienced a bumpy ride. It was delayed until later on this year, and its Epic exclusivity arrangement offered the developers the security they needed to deliver this unique title to the masses. The game will be priced at $14.99 at launch for a limited time, and will playable in 11 languages. I assume they didn’t need to translate the goose honks, but one can never be sure.
The goose has a checklist of nefarious deeds, like stealing keys from a gardener, turning on the sprinklers, and nicking sandwiches and a flask of tea for a picnic. My favourite assignment? Rake in the lake. All these crimes and more will await us in the full release of Untitled Goose Game on September 20.
