Esports betting platform Unikrn has been announced as the newest sponsor of organization Unicorns of Love, with the companies announcing a $50K streaming or competitive contract for an up-and-coming player.
Unikrn and Unicorns of Love are seeking applicants for the six-month contract, which will be awarded to either a streamer or an individual competitive player in solo games such as Fortnite or Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and based in either Europe or North America.
The partnership was revealed alongside the announcement of Unicorns of Love’s revamped Counter-Strike: Global Offensive roster. Last weekend, the organization qualified for the League of Legends World Championship, and it also competes in PUBG Mobile and sim-racing games.
“Unikrn is first and foremost a supporter of esports,” said Unikrn CEO Rahul Sood, in a release. “The last time we co-founded a team, it was a big success during our tenure. Unikrn loves Unicorns of Love’s fan love: just the name itself was too good to pass up. We’re excited to unveil Unikrns of Love.”
