The Mandolorian is on his way to Fortnite: Battle Royale.
Earlier this month, several reputable Fortnite data miners confirmed that a subscription service is in the works for a future release. Tentatively named the Fortnite Crew Subscription, this service will grant players the ability to unlock the seasonal Battle Pass, secure and early-access pack and an extra 1,000 V-Bucks for an undetermined monthly cost. Epic Games has not confirmed nor denied what data miners found earlier this month. However, it appears that the Fortnite Crew Subscription could be on its way soon. Additionally, leakers revealed that Fortnite Chapter 2 – Season 5 would include the titular Star Wars character from the hit Disney Plus series, The Mandalorian.

First released by VastBlast on Twitter, the leaked Fortnite Crew Subscription image showcases a brand new Galaxy-oriented skin along with an iconic Star Wars character that many will recognize. On the left side of the leaked image is The Mandolorian from the Star Wars Disney Plus show of the same name. A recent partnership between Disney’s streaming service and Epic Games may have paved the way to make this possible. Although some questioned the image’s legitimacy, more leaks came through via Twitter shortly after that confirmed The Mandalorian would appear in Season 5’s Battle Pass.

VastBlast revealed Fortnite Chapter 2 – Season 5’s logo shortly after the Crew Subscription leak. The Mandalorian character is front and center with what appears to be a Baby Yoda back bling off to the side. This image seems to confirm that, at the very least, The Mandalorian might assume the role of Deadpool from Fortnite Chapter 2 – Season 2. He will likely be a special unlockable character in the Season 5 Battle Pass with many additional items to acquire. Although this might not mean an entire Star Wars season, we can expect to see The Mandalorian and Baby Yoda next season.
