Amateur esports league operator and tournament platform company Super League Gaming has announced a global expansion to its partnership with gaming center software service, ggCircuit.
The companies first aligned in April, as Super League Gaming developed content and tournament programs for gaming centers that used the ggCircuit platform in the United States. Now the initiative will expand globally across more than 600 gaming center locations, with more than 15,000 computers running ggCircuit’s platform and more than 200K monthly users, according to a release.
As part of the expanded partnership, ggCircuit’s ggLeap platform will be updated to feature Super League Gaming branding. Additionally, the company will launch an optional premium subscription service for players called Super League Prime, which unlocks exclusive benefits along with the ability to earn points towards special rewards.
“ggCircuit has been behind the scenes helping to support the growth of the video game industry for years, and has amassed an enviable market share across the global gaming center footprint through their best-in-class software platform,” said Super League Gaming Chairman and CEO Ann Hand, in a release. “In combination with Super League’s strong consumer brand and offers, now inclusive of Super League Prime, we are taking a huge step in our mission to be the leading international platform for in-person gaming across game titles, skill levels, and age groups, with a true end-to-end solution for retail partners who want to attract gamers.”
Super League Gaming will also manage consumer brand partnerships for ggCircuit-affiliated gaming centers, with the ability to activate brands within the rebranded platform, create custom-branded tournaments and events, and provide video and social media content.
