Spacestation Gaming has signed a pair of popular mobile game content creators and given both co-founder titles with the company.
The organization has added Tim “Ash” Evans, who has nearly 800K subscribers on YouTube for “Clash With Ash” videos about Clash Royale, along with Lance “Powerbang” Frisbee, whose Powerbang Gaming channel has nearly 1.4M subscribers and primarily focuses on PUBG Mobile content.
Evans departed his role as Nova Esports’ director of content shortly before making the announcement. His channel recently featured sponsored content from LG Electronics, while Powerbang Gaming has been sponsored by smartphone brand OnePlus. It’s unclear whether the creators’ individual sponsorships will continue alongside the alliance with Spacestation Gaming.
According to a tweet on the official Spacestation Gaming Twitter account, the moves are intended to help “create the next powerhouse in mobile gaming.” In a video, Evans and Frisbee said that they will work with fellow content creators, pro players, and teams, and plan to bring new brand partners into the mobile space.
Spacestation Gaming has a professional PUBG Mobile team, as well as a pro Auto Chess Mobile player. The organization also fields players and teams in several PC esports, including Rainbow Six Siege, Rocket League, and Apex Legends.
