The Overwatch League this morning will name Xfinity brand as the presenting partner of the 2019 playoffs and Grand Finals in Philadelphia, giving the event a hometown sponsor in the Comcast-owned internet brand. Terms were not revealed, but Xfinity will be given a major presence with signage and other assets both physically at Wells Fargo Center and on media broadcasts with Twitch and ESPN/ABC.
The playoffs start Aug. 30th in L.A. and culminate with the Grand Finals in Philadelphia in late September.
