Tournament operator ONE Esports has announced that it will host a Dota 2 Major in Singapore as part of the 2019-20 Dota Pro Circuit. The ONE Esports Singapore Major will take place in June, and serve as the final Major event before the year’s Dota 2 championship event – The International 10.
As with all Majors in the DPC, the Singapore Major will award a $1M USD prize pool and 15K DPC points. The Dota Pro Circuit utilizes a points system whereby teams that accrue enough points by participating in circuit events can qualify for The International.
Esports production company PGL has signed on as the event’s official broadcast partner. PGL has operated several DPC events in recent years including the Kuala Lumpur Major in 2018.
