A Total War Saga: Troy is free to claim from the Epic Games Store, and more than one million people have snapped up a copy of the new game.
We’ve had one million downloads for TROY in the first hour! Thanks to everyone who claimed it – and if you didn’t, there’s still just under 21.5 hours to get it for free, courtesy of @EpicGames… pic.twitter.com/eVNjiketzg

To celebrate the series’ 20th anniversary, Creative Assembly said that this arrangement with Epic Games “felt like an opportunity to really move the franchise forward by getting it in front of more people.” Evidently, the punt has paid off, and this giveaway is possible through Epic Games’ generous offer to compensate the cost of the free copies.
Four hours left to claim TROY for free! You don’t need to download or install it to keep it – just claim it and make sure it’s in your library, and it’s yours for free. pic.twitter.com/EdWItvEKrV
