Two more players join Luminosity Gaming’s Fortnite roster.

Luminosity Gaming is on quite a run with its free-agent pick-ups in competitive Fortnite: Battle Royale. Earlier this year, the North American-based esports organization signed four players to enter back into the professional scene. Jamper, Eclipsae, Keys and Slackes all made substantial additions to LG’s empty roster at the time. Just one month after signing content creator Nick Eh 30, the organization keyed in on its next two Fortnite players. DreamHack and FNCS Season 4 Finalists Xoonies and Joji are now representing Luminosity.

Joji (14) and Xoonies (18) were featured on their new organization’s Twitter account in a Fortnite clip compilation. Each player displayed a level of skill in the announcement video rivaled only by their recent tournament results. Xoonies had himself a successful Season 4, reaching the Fortnite Champion Series (FNCS) Trio Finals and the subsequent DreamHack Duo Finals. Alongside teammates SEN Aspect and npen, Xoonies finished sixth in the FNCS Grand Finals, netting him a share of $18K USD. He and Aspect also claimed sixth in the DreamHack Duo Finals, where the two split $3.7K USD.

Like Xoonies, Joji has also put in work recently on the tournament scene. The 14-year-old finished 21st in the FNCS Chapter 2 – Season 4 Finals, 15th in DreamHack Duo Finals and 2nd in the 1% Cup Finals alongside TabzG. Both Joji and Xoonies have earned several thousand in prize money in only a few months. An organization like Luminosity Gaming will give them much-needed exposure for the upcoming Fortnite Season 5 tournament stretch. ESTNN reached out to Xoonies for a comment regarding his goals under the LG umbrella.

“Some goals I want to achieve while joining LG are placing at the best to my ability while representing the team and growing my brand to be one of the biggest on LG,” he said. “I currently have 33k twitch followers, and I want to reach a minimum of 100k followers in the next year.”

Xoonies has his sights set on improving his social media following and consistently placing well in tournaments. He, Joji and the entire Fortnite competitive scene are learning the ins and outs of Season 5. Although the next few months are somewhat unclear, we know that trios will remain the primary FNCS format, and there won’t be any Epic-sanctioned Fortnite LAN competitions next year.

These two new Luminosity Gaming members will have to continue compiling results online, and each has the talent to succeed.
