Grab a partner and register for DreamHack’s December string of duo tournaments!
DreamHack, a Swedish production company, is on the tail-end of its first Fortnite duos endeavor after several consecutive months of solo events. Fortnite players struggled to continue playing the same format after two straight solo Fortnite Champion Series (FNCS) events and recurring Cash Cup tournaments. DreamHack listened to the criticisms and suggestions of pro players and fans. Their solution was what most were looking for, the much-anticipated swap from solos to duos. In November, NA East and Europe have both crowned their first-ever Duo DreamHack Champions.
For Europe, the talented duo of Wave Vadeal and Noahreyli cleaned up the competition en route to the $24K USD grand prize, which the pair split. NA East saw one of its best duos – XSET Gaming’s RogueShark and Knight – walk away with the same title and $15K USD. The community’s reception for DreamHack was exceptional. Fortnite players had the privilege of competing in a legitimate duos tournament for the first time since Chapter 2 – Season 2. DreamHack confirmed that it would stick with duos through December for its monthly Fortnite tournament series based on overwhelming success.

Without much elaboration, DreamHack announced that it’s Online Open featuring Fortnite will remain a duos tournament. The company has already released dates for all three regional competitions in December. Refer to the schedule below for NA East, NA West and Europe, and remember all times are local to each region:

How to Register for December DreamHack Duos
For those looking to register, you can proceed to this link. There you will need to fill out a series of forms to secure your spot in DreamHack’s December duos competitions. Another $250,000 prize pool will be up for grabs, spread across all three regions. The format and scoring system will remain the same.
