Disintegration, the new shooter/RTS hybrid from Halo co-creator Marcus Lehto’s studio V1 Interactive, launches next week. Ahead of that, the studio has released a look at the recording of the upcoming game’s main theme in the form of a music video.
The video shows the Budapest Scoring Orchestra performing the Jon Everist composition. “I wanted to capture both the fragility and hopefulness of the human spirit,” Everist said in a press release. “The solo piano motif propels the piece to a crescendo with the rest of the orchestra where our heroic theme is revealed, representing the power and ingenuity of humanity coming together for the common good. This is the theme of the resistance.”
