Global esports organization Gen.G has announced the promotions of multiple senior executives to C-level positions within the company. Clarissa Avendano will assume the role of Chief Financial Officer while Martin Kim and Gina Chung Lee take on the Chief Revenue Officer and Chief Marketing Officer positions respectively.
Avendano is a 20-year finance and accounting veteran having previously worked for Deloitte. She joined Gen.G as VP, Finance in early 2020. Kim has served as VP of Strategic Partnerships since 2019 and was involved in the launch of the Gen.G. Elite Esports Academy. His prior experience includes and eight-year stint in Major League Baseball both with the Los Angeles Dodgers and the league itself. Lee also joined Gen.G in 2019 as VP of Brand, Activation, & Apparel, having previously served as Head of Global & Digital Brand Marketing for Forever 21.
Along with these promotions come the advancement of other team members including Silvia Hong to VP Operations for Gen.G Korea, Woojin Park to VP, General Counsel, and Jihun Lee will serve as VP, General Manager for the Korea office overseeing the League of Legends, Overwatch League, and PUBG teams.
