Fortnite will feature a never-before-seen scene from Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker in the Risky Reels drive-in theatre (via Engadget).Â
This isn’t the first time Epic Games has collaborated with Disney. Fortnite has had Avengers crossovers, in the ability to play as Thanos, and adding Avenger and Chiitauri teams tasked with locating the Infinity Stones or the Infinity Gauntlet. It has also featured live promotional events like the Marshmello concert in Pleasant Parks which boasted over 10 million players watching the event live.Â

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker director J. J. Abrams will drop by the debut, and the scene will premiere on December 14 at 4.30pm GMT in the Risky Reels drive-in theatre. Players were also able to snag a Stormtrooper skin with the release of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, so I’m hoping the Imperial Forces are lining up to watch the new scene.Â
Fortnite is out now for Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, Xbox One, iOS, and Android.Â
