Bethesda has unveiled Fallout 1st which is a new premium monthly or yearly membership for Fallout 76, offering private worlds, in-game currency, and exclusive gear and emotes.

Private worlds was the ‘number one community-requested feature’, and Bethesda promised that the keen beans would receive news about how these would work very soon. Now, the Fallout 1st scheme will allow players to create a private world for up to eight players and it will only require the host to be a Fallout 1st member. The private worlds will be moddable in the future, and will offer bigger building zones and increased C.A.M.P. resources.

The Fallout 1st scheme will give players a monthly bonus of 1,650 Atoms for the Atomic Shop and unlock exclusive discounts for in-game items in the store. A private Scrapbox will hold the Fallout 1st player’s remainder crafting components to enable hoarding habits, and exclusive player icons and emote are on offer too.

The Survival Tent is a new feature that Fallout 1st players will enjoy, and it acts as a second fast travel point as well as the C.A.M.P. A home away from home, it comes with a Stash, Sleeping Bag, Scrapbox, and Cooking Station. And finally, the Ranger Armor Outfit is a callback to New Vegas and will be only available to those on the Fallout 1st scheme.

Fallout 1st is priced at $12.99 per month, or $99.99 per year. If the player cancels their membership, they will still have the bonus Atoms received for that month and they will keep the the resources stored in their Scrapbox. They will also have any icons and emotes they claimed during their Fallout 1st membership. Bethesda will be listening to player feedback on the new scheme, and will continue to ‘improve the service over the months and years to come’.

Fallout 76 is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
