North American-based esports organization Evil Geniuses has announced the completion of the final phase of its rebranding. The rebrand project, which began last December, is now complete with the unveiling of a new crest, a player jersey redesigns, and the announcement of LG Electronics USA as an official marketing partner. Full details of the LG UltraGear partnership will be announced at a later date.
Financial terms of the new partnerships with LG Electronics USA were not disclosed.
As part of the initiative, a newly designed crest and LG UltraGear partnership logo has been incorporated into the complete overhaul of player jersey designs. The jersey designs celebrate “individuality by incorporating details unique to each player, while standing out from the competition with bold design and intricate details.”
According to the release, the changes are designed to showcase EG’s core brand DNA, both internally to players and staff, and externally to partners and community. The new assets are designed to celebrate that individualism, the organization says, as well as honor the its history while looking to the future and creating a path for competitive success.
Evil Geniuses was founded in 1999 and currently field teams in Dota 2, League of Legends, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Fighting Games, and Fortnite.
LG UltraGear joins EG sponsors and partners such as Razer, AMD, Twitch, and FVBet.
