  • DreamHack Delhi will take place at New Delhi’s NSIC Exhibition Ground on Dec. 6-8.
  • This is the second DreamHack event in India following December 2018’s DreamHack Mumbai.
  • The event will feature a Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament, along with other competitions and activities.

One year after hosting DreamHack Mumbai, India’s first edition of the gaming and esports festival, the company will return with this December’s DreamHack Delhi event.

DreamHack Delhi will be held at the NSIC Exhibition Ground in New Delhi on Dec. 6-8, again in collaboration with gaming and esports solutions company NODWIN Gaming and media and entertainment company Viacom18. Content from the event will be broadcast live via Viacom18’s streaming network, VOOT.

“We at DreamHack are happy to return to the great gaming country of India. Last year’s festival in Mumbai was historical, as it was the first DreamHack festival ever to be held in Asia,” said DreamHack Co-CEO Marcus Lindmark, in a release. “India has a very strong gaming community, which we got to experience first hand during last year’s event. This makes DreamHack Delhi a natural next step in our effort in making the DreamHack experience the perfect culmination of the gaming year in India.”

DreamHack Delhi will feature a $55K USD (3.8M INR) Counter-Strike: Global Offensive invitational tournament, as well as competitions for games such as Street Fighter V, Super Smash Bros., PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS, and Tekken 7. Additionally, the event will include a bring-your-own-computer LAN area, as well as the ability for attendees to bring their own mobile devices and consoles and compete in tournaments. DreamHack Delhi will also include cosplay, live music performances, and pro player signing sessions.
