German telecommunications company Deutsche Telekom has been announced as the latest official sponsor of the German League of Legends Premier Tour.

In addition to sponsoring the regional league, Deutsche Telekom is already a sponsor of SK Gaming, which competes in the franchised League of Legends European Championship (LEC). The team recently opened a new Cologne Magenta Facility in Cologne, Germany, which is named after the color scheme of the telecom.

In addition to Deutsche Telekom, the League of Legends Premier Tour has several sponsors, including oil company Shell, headphone maker HyperX, snack brand NicNac’s, insurance companies BARMER and R+V Versicherung, and Dr. Oetker’s frozen pizza brand La Mia Grande.

The League of Legends Premier Tour Winter Cup will take place on Nov. 30. In July, Riot Games, Freaks 4U Gaming, and Lagardère Sports announced a partnership to create a new league to succeed the Premier Tour in 2020, with 7Sports joining the partnership in September. It’s not yet known if Riot Games will completely rebrand the new league, which will feature a Pro Division with teams such as BIG, mousesports, and SK Gaming Prime.
