Comscore, a media measurement and analytics company, announced that the company has entered into a new partnership with Twitch. According to the release, the deal adds tagless audience reporting of all livestreaming that broadcasts on Twitch, including gaming and esports. Comscore will provide digital audience solutions and a view into digital consumption behaviors that can be used by marketers.
The partnership allows the viewing of third-party data and insights into Twitch’s “engaged audiences” in the U.S. and Canada. Comscore claims that advertisers will have the ability to understand Twitch livestreaming “video consumption habits and decipher key audience segments” using the data that it collects.
Comscore is also working to expand its integration with Twitch to other areas, such as the launch of additional markets and roll out of category- and genre-level reporting.
