Hardware manufacturer MSI served as the official monitor and laptop supplier of this weekend’s BlizzCon 2019 convention.
Blizzard Entertainment’s gaming festival used MSI’s laptops and monitors in its control room setup, while BlizzCon’s demo computers for attendees were powered by MSI’s Z390 Gaming Pro Motherboard.
MSI also had a booth at the event’s main World of Warcraft Hall, where attendees could test out the brand’s hardware, compete in Overwatch matches against other fans, and meet professional World of Warcraft players from esports organization Method.
“BlizzCon is not just a gaming convention, but an epic experience that brings people together and transports gamers into their favorite virtual world,” said MSI Corporate Marketing VP Sam Chern, in a release. “BlizzCon blurs the line between fantasy and reality, and we are both honored and excited to be a part of this world and to help make that experience possible.”
At the BlizzCon 2019 opening ceremony, Blizzard announced Overwatch 2, Diablo 4, and Hearthstone’s auto-battler Battlegrounds mode. During the final day of the event, Overwatch World Cup finals, as well as the final rounds of the Hearthstone Global Finals, and World of Warcraft Arena World Championship were featured.
