RFRSH Entertainment’s BLAST Pro Series Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament series will conclude its 2019 season with a Global Final event in The Kingdom of Bahrain.

The $500K Global Final will be held on Dec. 13-14, marking the largest esports event to ever be held in the sovereign island nation. The venue has yet to be announced.

“Esports is one of the fastest-growing sports in the world. Bahrainis are passionate fans and players, and we are excited by the opportunity to bring this world-class tournament to the Kingdom,” said H.E. Ayman Tawfiq Almoayyed, Bahrain’s Minister of Youth and Sports Affairs, in a release. “We look forward to hosting the teams and their fans from around the world, and building a lasting legacy for the sport in Bahrain and beyond.”

The Global Final is the seventh and final stop in the 2019 season, and will offer double the prize pool of previous events to bring the season total to $2M. Previous competitions have been held in São Paulo, Miami, Madrid, and Los Angeles, with BLAST Pro Series Moscow taking place this weekend ahead of a Copenhagen stop in November.

The four competing teams will be decided following BLAST Pro Series Copenhagen, with Team Liquid, Astralis, FaZe Clan, Ninjas in Pyjamas, MiBR, Natus Vincere, and Cloud9 all in the running to earn a spot in the Global Final.
