Sports equipment brand Bauer Hockey today announced a partnership with Andrew “Nasher” Telfer, a YouTuber and content creator who focuses on EA Sports’ NHL simulation series.

Telfer has been creating content around the series since 2012 and currently has 284K YouTube subscribers, along with 19K Twitter followers. He has recently been producing NHL 20 content ahead of this week’s release of the new game. Bauer Hockey will exclusively provide Telfer with apparel and equipment for use with his content, and are also planning multiple activations together.

“We strive to stay deeply engaged in and connected to our hockey community, which includes every aspect of the experience from in-game performance to the lifestyle hockey players live,” said Bauer Hockey Digital Marketing Manager Ricky Hildebrand, in a release. “Nasher reflects the diversity of this hockey experience, including online, on-ice, street, and roller hockey. We’re proud to be the first hockey equipment company to partner with a world-class digital influencer and gamer and add Nasher to our Bauer team.”

Telfer will be part of an official launch event for NHL 20 in New York City on Sept. 5-6. He is also part of the broadcast team for the NHL’s Gaming World Championship, which awarded $100K USD across the 2019 tournament series and held its grand finals in June.
