Respawn Entertainment has released a Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order inspired skin for Pathfinder from Apex Legends (via DualShockers).

In celebration of the launch of #JediFallenOrder, we’re releasing the BD-1-inspired, “BP-1 Pathfinder skin.” To claim the skin, simply log in to Apex Legends from Dec 3 – Jan 14.

Congratulations once again to the Jedi team here at Respawn! ❤ pic.twitter.com/Y075K3VjtF

Apex Legends is doing very well, indeed. Publisher EA has promoted it to its “annual shooter”, punting Battlefield and Titanfall into limbo. “We really want to keep the team hyper-focused on Apex because we see there’s so much opportunity there,” the company said, and the writing is on the wall. Apex Legends is enjoyed by over 70 million players across the globe, exceeding EA’s expectations with incredible growth and revenue as a live service.

Respawn Entertainment developed and supports Apex Legends, and it also produced the very good Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Josh liked its Sekiro-style lightsaber combat, thought the villains were incredibly compelling, and he’s hankering after a sequel. Cal Kestis and co. may not be dropping into Star Wars Battlefront 2, but there is a little nod to the Jedi-apparent in Apex Legends.

Cal is accompanied by the adorable droid, BD-1, on his adventures. It only makes sense that the robot Pathfinder gets a skin that copies the red and white colours of Cal’s buddy. It is available on all platforms, and it’s free to all who log in to Apex Legends between December 3 and January 14.

Apex Legends is out now on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
