The New York Subliners are the next team to announce a roster change ahead of the 2021 Call of Duty League season
Moving into 4v4 competitive play, each team must make the hard decision of releasing players from their roster. The New York Subliners is the latest team to do so, releasing Accuracy, Temp, Censor and Happy from the squad.
Lamar “Accuracy” Abedi
Accuracy began his Call of Duty career in the 2013 Call of Duty: Ghosts season. Known as one of the best Assault Rifle players of all time, Accuracy has four Call of Duty Championships to his name along with a second place finish at the 2018 World Championships under Team Kaliber.
Donovan “Temp” Laroda
Temp started competing during the 2015 Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare season. However, he has had a success-starved career so far, only winning his first championship this year at the New York Home Series.
Doug “Censor” Martin
Censor started his Call of Duty career in 2011 during the Call of Duty: Black Ops 1 season. He is one of the longest competing players and is known as one of the most ‘influencer like’ players with over 2.5 million YouTube subscribers.
Nick “Happy” Suda
Happy began competing in the 2014 Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare season and teamed with Accuracy for around half of the competitive year. However, Happy is yet to win a CWL or CDL event, with his highest placement coming in the form of a 5-6th at the 2019 CWL Fort Worth Open.
It seems that the New York Subliners have re-signed Tommy “ZooMaa” Paparatto, Dillon “Attach” Price and Makenzie “Mack” Kelley for the 2021 Black Ops Cold War season. This means that they will be looking for a fourth starter and a sub, with many free agents available, the Subliners will be looking to pick up a strong starter for next season.
